About Collars.sh
Collars.sh is a field guide to one object: the collar. We cover where it comes from, what it has meant to the people who wear it, how it works as a symbol in BDSM, and how the different types differ in practice. The Catalog breaks down every kind of collar so you can tell a day piece from a posture piece and know what to look for. All of it is written for an adult (18+) audience, and none of it is explicit.
We describe how things work, what a collar means, and what to watch out for, without graphic detail. Consent runs through everything, and where a collar carries a real safety consideration, such as fit at the throat or a locked piece, we say so plainly rather than leaving it out.
How we work
Our writers work under scene names, which is normal in this community. They describe hands-on and community experience, making collars, wearing them, living with the dynamics around them, never clinical credentials, because nobody here is a doctor or a therapist and we will not pretend otherwise. Guides and Catalog entries are personal experience and general information, not medical advice. If something you read raises a health question, please talk to a qualified professional.
The Catalog
The Catalog is our plain-language breakdown of collar types. Each entry assesses a whole category rather than a single branded product, so you get an honest read on what a type is for, who it suits, and where it falls short. We flag any real risk, and we do not take payment to praise a style.
Independence
Collars.sh is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or maker we may name for reference. Where we assess a collar type, we say what works and what does not, and we flag any real risk. Any trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Collars.sh is operated by Tannery Row Media Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, with offices at Themistokli Dervi 6, Office 9, Nicosia 1066, Cyprus.
